You know you're somewhere different the second you enter Chamblee. Our small town center is connected by walking paths, railways, historic buildings, and a trove of antique stores that each have their own flavor of curiosities to bring home. And Olmsted is in the center of it all.

We aren't interested in superimposing ourselves on top of this community, but rather building within and reflecting its quaint character. This is a place for people who love the proximity of city lights but prefer laid-back living in a neighborhood with old and new stops to explore.

Eat All Over the World

If you aren't familiar with Buford Highway, you should grab your hat and hop on the train. This international corridor, just minutes from Olmsted, is home to a long list of fresh grocers and food markets from around the world. It's like Epcot Center, but miles more authentic. Some notable stops include Nam Phuong's pho palace, Lee's Bakery and her formidable bánh mìs and Plaza Fiesta marketplace. Or just ask Olmsted's front desk for the lay of the land.

We Like Character

Chamblee is the unofficial antique capital of North America. According to us. You can easily spend the day walking from shop to shop picking through some real treasures. Your tour should start with Biggar Antiques–a place filled to the roof with interesting tidbits from the past. Finish out the day at Antique Factory, and find yourself a little of the past to reclaim for the future.

Drinks and dining just a short walk from Olmsted Chamblee

When you aren't up to the task of choosing between the best Korean and the tastiest Chinese, there are plenty of homegrown foodie stops a quick walk from our front door. Try contemporary American cuisine at Southbound or Union Hill Kitchen. We are happy to debate about which serves the better burger. For the sweet tooth in everyone, Maison Robert Fine Chocolates and the Frosty Caboose are two destinations for the map. When going out won't do, stop by Whole Foods around the corner for all your home-cookin' staples.

Places Worth Making

We believe the only places worth making are the ones imagined with soul. Starting from a sense of fatigue with the uninspired, unfeeling apartment product, we set out to raise the bar. Taking our cues from the principles of the great Frederick Law Olmsted, we consider the context of a community and create sensible,

intention-forward apartments for people to enjoy. We build places where design follows function, and appealing touches of well-worn comfort mix with the curious and colorful. With a genuine regard for hospitality and making residents feel at home, Olmsted brings you into the fold.

A Different Kind of Social

We love being social. As a matter of fact, we love it so much we're committed to doing it differently. We're unique and if you're here, we know you are too. Come on over, kick your feet up and stay a while. We want you to lay here. We want you to lounge here. Soak up the sun here, read a book, get along and all we ask is that you don't step on anyone. Embrace your rarity and do it here, where you can fully envelop your own uniqueness among friends.
